i’m marian “rian” valentin. i started this blog to write about my adventures and share all my tips + film to inspire others to travel 🙂

originally from the bay area, california, i started traveling at a young age with my family. studying abroad in nicaragua as a high schooler set off my solo travel journey, which i continued in my 20’s after building my career as a mental health nurse, bartender and background actress for movies and tv. in addition to blogging, i also write poetry and sci-fi/horror screenplays. when i’m not exploring the world and the paranormal, i’m playing the drums. i’ve got a million different interests and counting…
